How to solve this question

2log(x+1)/log3 + log(x-3)/log3 = log(5x-1)/log5 + 1 Please solve for me thank you

I think this equation is just solving by numerical methods. From my stand point an analytical solution is not possible. x=5.579 is the solution.

Be careful. I tried this with both Wolfram Alpha and Desmos and got different results. My TI-83 gave 3.9129581.
